Brookhaven Homes x Arabella Wang: I Painted Their Home, and Happiness Took Shape

A house is blueprints and concrete. A home is light, laughter, and a garden that slowly grows.

That is what I tried to paint.

For the new homeowners of Brookhaven Homes, I was invited to create a bespoke home portrait to celebrate their handover day.

In the painting, there is a wall filled with sunlight, a small green pathway full of life at the front door, and windows glowing softly at sunrise and sunset. I painted not just the architecture, but the life that will happen inside it.

On handover day, we covered the painting gently with a red velvet cloth. When the cloth was lifted, the room filled with laughter. In that moment, I realized I wasn't just painting a house — I was painting a family's shared happiness, and the beginning of their next chapter.

A painting is light. But it can turn a single moment into a lifetime.

This is why we create bespoke home portraits — to give a new home its first memory.
