Bridging Cultures Through Art: Hand-Painted Art Meets Ceramic Tradition at Shenzhen Exhibition

It is a great honour to represent the fusion of Australian art and China's Jingdezhen ceramic traditions at an exhibition in Shenzhen, presented by an Australian Chinese artist. This opportunity to share and showcase artistic passions in the artist's beloved home country is deeply meaningful. At Zone 10 of the World Cultural Exchange Exhibition, new friendships were formed with many wonderful and interesting people, and diverse cultures from around the globe were experienced firsthand.

The most anticipated part of this exhibition was the Year of the Dragon themed sculpture created in collaboration with Gaoling Chao Ci, bringing together hand-painted artistry and ceramic craftsmanship. Among all cultural traditions, Chinese traditional ceramic art remains the most beloved. At the Jingdezhen section of the ICIF, the artist was truly able to feast their eyes on extraordinary ceramic works.
